Total: $4,719.61
Expenses
Mortgage: $500 $500
Cell Phone: $52 $50.11
Home Phone / Internet: $64 $62.95
This cost keeps increasing slightly due to federal fees and 911 surcharges.
Credit Card 1: $128.65 $128.65
Even though last month was our last debt payment on this, we do use the card for some reoccurring monthly bills such as Netflix, weekend Newspaper subscription, and so on.
Credit Card 2: $200 $205.00
Student Loans: $349 $349.59
Car Payment: $264.80 $264.80
Electric: $145 $99.12
Insurance: $244.26 $243.50
Band Instrument Rental: $39.22 $39.22
Piano Lessons: $0 $0
Bookworm’s piano lessons are a generous gift from my mother-in-law.
Fun Money: $100 $100
Annual Savings Account: $1,450 $1,597.79
This month, this takes into account our annual savings {$800 for the month}, and also any extra money that may need to be used for expenses during the holiday.
Cash Flow Savings: $135 $135
Debt Snowball Savings: $110 $153.01
This was a lot higher than I anticipated because I put the difference between what I budget for our cell phone, home phone and internet, as well as our electric, and what our actual bills are.
Remainder
After all our savings and expenses for the month, I estimated roughly $935 left for groceries and gas, but I only used $790.87. The remaining went towards any extra holiday items or put towards savings.
Groceries: $574.88
Fuel: $62.97
Miscellaneous: $153.02. This month our miscellaneous went towards humidifier filters, some items needed at Lowe’s, food for the Rabbit, as well as a cutting board, cheese cloth and purple mason jars. I love using mason jars for odd and end things around the house, and these will help break up the monotony of clear jars, as well as give me some of my quart jars back to use for canning items!
**Final Note: We ended the month with Hubs getting a $1,700 bonus through his employer. Since this was not an expected income {we try not to rely on his bonus because some years are not as good as others}, we just squirrelled it away into a savings account to not touch.
